Citizens Fidelity Mortgage was founded by John Gibson in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992. Mr. Gibson holds both an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a MBA in Business finance from the University of Florida.  Prior to founding Citizens Fidelity Mortgage, Mr. Gibson was an award winning home builder/real estate developer in Atlanta for over two (2) decades.  Mr. Gibson's academic achievements coupled with his experience made his transition to mortgage banking a natural fit.

Citizens Fidelity Mortgage is known as one of the southeast’s premier lenders.  Currently, the company holds a professional license in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Citizens Fidelity Mortgage is proud to be recognized by the "Atlanta Business Chronicle" for the sixth consecutive year as one of the top five Residential Mortgage Brokers in Georgia.  No other mortgage broker in Georgia can claim such a long-standing honor.   This established track record has allowed Citizens Fidelity Mortgage to evolve from a small mortgage broker to an award winning mortgage lender with internal and external funding sources which include over 50 mortgage wholesale lenders, commercial banks, insurance companies and private pension plans.
